Hope your week is going well Reader

I get a lot of questions from my clients about Swiss Train Passes, which are incredibly confusing. So, I have included a few posts and a video on the topic below.

I have also added a post about the plugs and adapters to help you figure out what you need to stay charged during your trip.

Plus, there are some other fun destinations and handy tips, like with all of my other newsletters (which you can see here).

7 Reasons not to get the Swiss travel pass

Most people buy the Swiss Travel Pass without thinking.

So, I decided to explain in simple terms seven reasons why you should not buy it (and the alternatives).

SWISS POWER PLUGS

We all need power when we travel. For our phones, our cameras, our laptops.

So, you don't want to be stuck in Switzerland with the wrong adapter!

TIP OF THE DAY

ZURICH AIRPORT to DOWNTOWN

Getting from Zurich Airport to your hotel is one of the simplest things you can do when you travel. You can catch a train from the underground station (look for the train sign) or catch a tram to nearby neighborhoods like Oerklikon.

You can even head straight to Lucerne or Interlaken from here, with a few changes along the way.

Some people prefer Uber when they have a lot of luggage, and in case you wondered, it is certainly available in Switzerland. As are Taxis, outside the arrivals hall.

Don't forget you need a valid ticket to get on public transport and perhaps a train pass for the rest of your journey?

SWISS SPAS & WELLNESS

Some Of The Best

Did you know that Switzerland is home to some of the most stunningly located mountain spas in the world.

Imagine Alpine views from your spa, after a relaxing massage by an expert!

Yes, it's an option in almost every corner of Switzerland!

IMAGE OF THE DAY (Submit yours)

The hike up behind Staubbach Falls in Lauterbrunnen is one of the easiest and most fun experiences Readerin the area.

HOT TIP: get up super early to avoid the crowds! This is me alone at the falls during peak season. I got up at 6.30 am :> No pain no gain!

That does not mean you can do anything on a rainy day. Instead you have to be just avoid heading up into the mountains and maybe do a city trip...
